FINsix Hires Brian Fukumoto as Vice President of Operations and David Schaezler as Chief Financial Officer


FINsix Corporation (FINsix), the worldwide leader in high-frequency power electronics, today announced that it has hired Brian Fukumoto as vice president of worldwide operations and David Schaezler as chief financial officer (CFO) to round out its executive team. As FINsix prepares for the upcoming start of production and a rapid growth phase for its miniature laptop chargers, Fukumoto and Schaezler bring significant experience driving operational excellence and consistently delivering results.

Fukumoto will oversee day-to-day global operations to ensure timely supply of high-quality product for FINsix's retail and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) customers. He brings to the company over 25 years' experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations. Most recently, Fukumoto was vice president of global supply chain and operations at DataDirect Networks, overseeing end-to-end supply chain execution for DDN's storage systems and solutions.Prior to DDN, Fukumoto held a variety of executive leadership roles for HP, Palm, Tasman Networks, and Solectron Corporation. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Santa Clara University.



Schaezler brings 25 years of comprehensive financial management experience, including financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, fundraising, business development, and tax and treasury management. Prior to joining FINsix, Schaezler was the chief financial officer and vice president of finance at nLIGHT, where he helped successfully lead the transformation of the company from a small startup with limited development contracts into a leader in industrial fiber lasers with an average annual growth rate of 30% over a 10-year period. While at nLIGHT, he secured over $120 million in venture capital and debt funding and orchestrated multiple acquisitions. Prior to nLIGHT, Schaezler held leadership positions with Integrated Device Technology and VLSI Technology. He holds a bachelor's of business administration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
