Arbor Networks' Sam Curry and Dan Holden to Speak at RSA Conference 2016

Arbor Networks Inc., the security division of NETSCOUT (NASDAQ: NTCT), today announced that the company will be exhibiting this week at the RSA Conference in booth #4114, as well as participating in two speaking engagements at the show. Arbor Networks (News - Alert) Chief Technology and Security Officer Sam Curry will speak on "Dyre," one of the most devious attacks hitting the financial sector; and Arbor's Director of Security Research Dan Holden (News - Alert) will speak on "The Power Broker's Lesson for Security Professionals."

Visit the Arbor Networks booth (#4114) all week for interactive games, DDoS mitigation demonstrations and a look at Arbor Networks SpectrumTM, the company's new platform for advanced threat detection. In addition, Arbor will also be hosting a preview of NETSCOUT's "Lo and Behold: The Reveries of the Connected World," a documentary produced by legendary filmmaker Werner Herzog on Wednesday, March 2 at 11:30 a.m.

Session Overview: Power Broker's Lesson for Security Professionals
Power Broker is a Pulitzer Prize winning biography of Robert Moses, the man who built New York City. Without ever having been elected to office, Moses became the greatest builder America has ever known. Like Robert Moses, who ignored how his work impacted the people in the community, many security solutions donot take the user into account. They are complex, difficult to deploy, and even harder to operationalize. They require skill sets not easily found. As an industry, we like to think we talk about technology, people and process. In reality, we only talk technology. This session will explain why things need to change.

Learn all about RATs, how they can be detected, who operates them and why.
