Nuix Building for Tomorrow with Massively Scalable Engine, Upgraded Web Review, New Management Console

NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- LegalTech Conference 2016 — Eddie Sheehy, CEO of global technology company Nuix, is pleased to announce four product releases over the first half of 2016 that will help customers deal with the growing volume and complexity of their eDiscovery matters.

"eDiscovery and all kinds of investigations into electronic information require one thing: the ability to find facts and put them in context," said Sheehy. "The future of eDiscovery is about embracing the scale and complexity of the challenges ahead: ever-growing data sets, continuously evolving technologies, changing business communications, shifting regulatory environments, and crafty adversaries. Nuix prides itself on delivering rock-solid software to support customers through these challenges."

With this vision in mind, Nuix will deliver new capabilities on its proven technology throughout the first half of 2016.

  • With Nuix 7, we are supersizing our backend architecture and providing the option to store all Nuix case data in Elasticsearch databases. This will deliver greater scale, control, and durability on the backend and allow customers to drive more Nuix processing power against their biggest data sets.
  • li>Nuix Management Console is a framework for orchestrating processing, including search and tag, optical character recognition, legal export, and custom scripts across a server or group of servers. With relatively low-cost hardware, a Nuix customer could achieve ingestion speeds of more than one terabyte per hour.
  • Nuix Web Review & Analytics, our fastest growing product to date, is getting a facelift. Nuix is focused on improving the user experience to make the most common workflows faster and easier.
  • Nuix Legal Hold completes our corporate eDiscovery platform and will allow customers to create and track legal holds, granularly track the acknowledgment process, and enable the generation of required reports for defensibility—all from the same powerful software stack that delivers Nuix Director and Web Review & Analytics.

"eDiscovery practitioners must handle ever-growing complexity and new challenges such as information governance, cybersecurity, and insider threats," said Sheehy. "At Nuix we are continually investing in all aspects of our business to make sure we stay innovative and relevant to our customers, and make them proud to say 'We use Nuix'. For those customers, and for us, near enough will never be good enough."

Nuix Management Console will be available in February 2016. Nuix Web Review & Analytics with the new user interface will be available on the Nuix 6.2 engine in late Q1.  Nuix Legal Hold 1.0 will be available in early Q2.  Nuix 7 will be available in Q2 of 2016.
