NCP engineering Releases Secure Enterprise Management 4.0 Update

NCP engineering announced today the release of the latest iteration of its Secure Enterprise Management Solution (SEM), V. 4.0, offering a more streamlined remote access VPN management system for companies that predominantly employ remote and mobile users.

The new update further optimizes the fully automated VPN management system with a revised user interface and up-to-date plug-ins compatible with Windows 10. These features were first debuted to the public at this year's IT Security Expo and Congress (it-sa).

NCP Secure Enterprise Management is a modular system that integrates with various plug-ins and provides graphical user interfaces to coordinate and control all integrated NCP components. The 4.0 update completely revises these interfaces and adapts them to Windows 10 for improved performance.

Additionally, SEM 4.0 database performance is optimized and direct authentication of administrators via Microsoft (News - Alert) Active Directory/LDAP is supported. With this functionality, the SEM can provide access for a new administrator using the same username and password as specified by their Active Directory/LDAP account.
