QAD and Dell Boomi Expand Partnership

QAD Inc. (NASDAQ:QADA) (NASDAQ:QADB), a leading provider of enterprise software and services designed for global manufacturing companies, today announced that it has expanded its partnership with Dell (News - Alert) Boomi. Dell Boomi, a business unit of Dell, is a leading integration solution built in the cloud that exploits the value of the cloud. Organizations of all sizes, from small businesses to the largest global enterprises, trust Dell Boomi for effective integration of any combination of cloud and on premise applications.

The partnership between QAD and Dell Boomi now offers manufacturers two solutions: The first, QAD Boomi AtomSphere, integrates QAD solutions with third party applications, in the cloud and on premise. The second, Dell Boomi AtomSphere, provides integration between any cloud and on premise applications. QAD will resell Dell Boomi AtomSphere going forward in addition to offering QAD Boomi AtomSphere.

"As manufacturers continue to consider cloud solutions like QAD Cloud ERP, we want to ensure implementations and production go as smoothly as possible," said Don Springer, QAD Boomi AtomSphere product manager at QAD. "By offering specific integration for QAD cloud solutions and a more general purpose integration solution, we increase the benefits and lower risks of cloud for customers no matter where they are in their cloud adoption."

QAD began offering QAD Boomi AtomSphere in 2014, but found during 2015 that customers were pursuing cloud deployments for a number of applications. QAD customers agree. "Effectively integrating cloud solutions is essential to enabling a connected global enterprise. It helps us achieve our corporate mission of saving lives by delivering innovative automotive safety systems with superior quality and flawless execution," said Bradley Hong, Vice President and CIO at Key Safety Systems Inc. "Boomi provides the scale, flexibility, dependability and insight we need to successfully integrate mission critical applications in real time."

The Business Intelligence group recently honored both QAD and Dell Boomi in the Stratus Awards.

Dell Boomi won and QAD was a finalist in the Cloud Company of the Year category.

"Dell Boomi's partnership with QAD enables manufacturers to quickly integrate their applications, data sources and service end points, whether on premise or in the cloud," said Chris McNabb, general manager of Dell Boomi. "The Boomi platform provides anadvantage to QAD that adds value to their customers through faster implementation and an accelerated time to value as they onboard new customers and convert existing on premise customers to QAD Cloud ERP."
