Push Technology Partners with FatFractal to Offer Simple Access to Extreme Speed and Scale

Push Technology and FatFractal today announced a partnership delivering an innovative developer solution to provide applications with a performance edge. The Live Queries feature, a technology integration partnership that combines FatFractal's NoServer metadata-driven API framework with Push Technology's Reactive Data Layer implementation, Diffusion, will help developers accelerate time to market for applications that rely on real-time data at massive scale.

"We chose to partner with Push Technology to deliver an integrated, real-time data solution for our enterprise customers," said Kevin Nickels, CEO, FatFractal. "Push Technology's ability to deliver extreme scale is a key requirement for the success of today's mobile apps. The seamless technology integration enables our customers to use Live Queries to create a new class of high performing user experience applications."

Live Queries is simple to use, requiring no setup or configuration, with a full pub-sub server-side API that provides ultimate flexibility. FatFractal's NoServer solution is available on Amazon, IBM (News - Alert) Softlayer, Bluemix and many other public cloud offerings, enabling customers to easily get started with Lve Queries.

"Traditional bespoke methods of managing data for apps that run over the Internet have high overhead. This makes it challenging to deliver data at scale and speed without breaking the bank-or breaking the network," said Sean Bowen, CEO, Push Technology. "For FatFractal clients that need extreme data management, speed and scale, we help them overcome the unknowns of the Internet by creating a unique Reactive Data Layer that can stream data to and from tens of thousands-even millions-of devices."

Soon to be released on the FatFractal public cloud as a Live Queries feature, any developer can create and run their application for as long as required for no charge (provided there is a minimum of 50 concurrent connections and 5GB of data transfers per month). Live Queries can be added to a NoServer production subscription for an additional $30 per month, with up to 200 connections and 20GB of data transfers, and $0.15 per connection plus $2.00 per GB of data transfers over the base requirements. Custom quotes are available for developers that have very large scale applications or custom SLA requirements.

For enterprise customers, resellers and OEMs, the integrated offering can also be deployed on their own infrastructure where the two systems are installed separately and seamlessly interoperate without complicated configurations. This means customers can easily access the NoServer API framework as well as the Diffusion Server independently, creating a truly bespoke experience.
