Hosted by the North American Network Operators' Group, this event is dedicated to the education, sharing and discovery of advanced networking techniques and applications for network operators.

Details: Recent buzz around Segment Routing (a.k.a. SPRING) has re-invigorated interest in source routing technologies and their potential benefits. For many operators, however, moving to SPRING represents a significant change in their operating practices, so a more incremental approach is needed. In this talk, Slabakov will review SPRING/Segment Routing and will focus on using existing protocols for achieving operational benefits.

Architecture for fine-grain, high-resolution telemetry for network elements

Details: Networks are evolving quickly into highly automated, self-adapting, intelligent integrated systems. However, even the most intelligent system can only make decisions that are as good as the information it is given. This session will explore the benefits, trials and tribulations of an architecture that enables high-frequency export of telemetry data from network elements and how operators can overcome these challenges.

RSVP-TE usability at scale

Details: Though RSVP-TE is widely deployed, various operational challenges still exist. This session will briefly summarize operationally-relevant issues associated with deploying RSVP-TE at scale, as well as provide practical recommendations on how to address these issues.
