Yottaa Starts 2015 with Strong First Quarter Performance

Yottaa, the leading Adaptive CDN service for optimizing user experience on web and mobile applications, today announced strong first quarter performance across all operational areas of the company, including sales, marketing, finance, engineering, product management, quality assurance, cloud operations, services and support.

In Q1 2015 Yottaa experienced tremendous revenue generation, which resulted in the company's 13th consecutive quarter of record revenue growth. Total Q1 2015 revenue increased over 100% year over year, as did new bookings for Yottaa's solutions. To keep pace with this growth, Yottaa increased staffing at its corporate headquarters in Q1 by 40%.

Throughout the quarter Yottaa made several key customer, product and company announcements, including:

In January Yottaa announced that Moosejaw, the "Most Fun Outdoor Retailer on the Planet", experienced impressive results using Yottaa's cloud-based engagement optimization software. After implementing Yottaa's software, Moosejaw was able to significantly improve page load times and conversion rates for its web applications. Of particular note, Moosejaw was able to vastly improve mobile web performance and the user experience for smartphone users.

In February Yottaa announced that Fathead, the leading brand of officially licensed graphics and more, experienced similar results after implementing Yottaa's solutions to optimize end user experience. Yottaa was a key component in the launch of a successful responsive web design initiative by the décor giant.

In early March Yottaa introduced ValidateITTM, a unique A/B testing methodology that enables enterprises to easily and instantly demonstrate business value from their Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and other web performance optimization invesments. Through ValidateIT, enterprises can predictably and accurately split traffic in real-time, allowing them to verify the immediate and long-term business benefits of optimizing their web applications. As the first vendor in this market to offer this type of methodology, Yottaa is providing its customers with a tremendous competitive advantage by enabling them to easily demonstrate the business value of web application optimization.

In addition, in March Yottaa released several updates to the security and enterprise management features of its ContextIntelligenceTM platform. To ensure the utmost cloud security, all SSL certificates were upgraded to the more secure SHA-2 encryption algorithm. To enable large and growing enterprise customers to better manage their cross-departmental collaboration, Yottaa added a robust role-based access control capability. This allows users to easily manage teams and the assets they manage through Yottaa's ContextNavigator web portal.

Yottaa hosted two highly attended webinars during the quarter. In January Yottaa's Ari Weil joined Dan Rayburn, Principal Analyst at Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert), to discuss the next generation of CDNs and describe the elements required to automatically, intelligently and in real-time speed the flow of the data each user needs at any time to their specific device. In March Weil joined Forrester Research (News - Alert) Principal Analyst Adam Silverman, to discuss today's omni-channel eCommerce environment, and how it's no longer a question of a company's web and mobile strategy, but rather how you will create a differentiated experience across an omni-channel landscape: web, mobile, in-store, and beyond.

Finally, in late March Yottaa opened a new corporate headquarters to support the company's rapid expansion. The new facility, located at 100 5th Avenue in Waltham, Massachusetts, more than tripled the space of Yottaa's previous headquarters and includes a state-of-the-art Cloud Operations Center. This center provides 24x7x365 operational support for Yottaa's Cloud infrastructure and ensures the company's customers experience carrier-class global service.

"Q1 was a landmark quarter for Yottaa as we look to aggressively scale the company to meet the growing enterprise demand for our platform," said Vick Viren Vaishnavi, President and CEO of Yottaa. "Not only did we continue our streak of 13 consecutive quarters of record revenue growth, we also announced many new marquee customers, introduced many new technology innovations to the market and significantly increased our headcount. All this led us to move the company to a much bigger headquarters which will help to facilitate the growth we expect in 2015 and beyond."
