ThinkTank Technologies announces the release of SweetVision™ HD, advanced endoscope imaging systems

PORT CHESTER, N.Y., April 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ThinkTank Technologies announced today the availability of their state-of-the-art endoscope imaging system, SweetVision HD. This competitively priced, medical imaging system provides doctors the unique ability to utilize their own rigid and fiber optic endoscope to capture high definition and high-quality video during examinations and to perform a variety of other scope procedures.

SweetVision HD allows doctors to save, trim and playback video at both full speed and slow motion, and to store individual images taken during examination or from saved video. Doctors can also use an exclusive real-time, fiberscope filtering which algorithmically enhances the quality of picture seen at HD resolution and is a less expensive, yet effective alternative to chip-on-the-tip video scopes. Adam Madoian, Founder of ThinkTank Technologies, says, "The advances in computer and camera technology now allow high definition video to be directly captured, processed and enhanced in real-time with SweetVision HD. It eliminates the need for an external video processor, utilizes the doctor's own scopes and simply outperforms other methods of mesh pattern removal while providing exceptional image and video quality."

SweetVision HD can benefit any specialty that uses endoscopes for diagnostic or surgical procedures including:

  • ENT, Gynecological and Urological exams
  • Balloon sinuplasty
  • Video stroboscopy
  • Arthroscopic surgical training

SweetVision HD is part of the SweetVision product ecosystem and supports Electroic Medical Record (EMR) integration and generation of patient reports. With the integration of Sookasa's transparent encryption service and Dropbox's cloud-based file hosting, HIPAA compliance is achieved for patient data synchronization, backup, sharing (both internal within a medical group and external to other specialists) and allows for remote viewing on mobile devices, such as the iPad. SweetVision HD can also provide other telemedicine functionality such as real-time broadcast of patient examinations to allow for professional collaboration or remote learning opportunities for medical teaching universities. Regarding SweetVision HD's utility, Madoian states "The significant shifts in the health care system are requiring doctors and facilities to streamline procedures while looking for cost-effective solutions. SweetVision HD bridges that gap with its intuitive, high-performing and cross-platform abilities and as such, is positioned to be an invaluable imaging tool as part of the patient health care process."

Availability
SweetVision HD is currently available in 2 different designs to accommodate the specific needs of each practitioner. The All-in-One is a 24" touchscreen display, high-performing desktop system with VESA mounting ability. Laptop configurations are available for users who need a powerful diagnostic station on-the-go. Equipped with either a 13", 15" or 17" display, these units are ideal for those who travel between locations and require a lightweight and portable solution. The 13" system is for those who need the ultimate in portability, weighing 2.8 pounds and is actually lighter and smaller than the 13" MacBook Air, requiring minimal space for placement.
