The Standard Promotes Raghu Valluri to Vice President of IT Solutions DeliveryStandard Insurance Company ("The Standard") announced today that Raghu Valluri has been promoted to vice president of Information Technology Solutions Delivery.

In 2009 he was promoted to assistant vice president of IT Business Solutions. Subsequently Valluri assumed responsibility for software quality assurance and testing in 2011 and enterprise architecture in 2012. In addition he has partnered with business sponsors to deliver new capbilities that are essential to growth and driven operational improvements in application architecture, development and maintenance. Valluri came to The Standard with a wealth of experience as an IT leader. At Intel (News - Alert), Raghu was responsible for the global implementation of Customer Relationship Management for sales and marketing, as well as the development of a global business intelligence competency center. "Over the past several years, Raghu has emphasized building strong organizations and made significant contributions in modernizing our technology environment," said David O'Brien, senior vice president of Information Technology at The Standard. "I'm pleased to see his contributions recognized in this way." Valluri earned a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical and electronics engineering from Mysore University, a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
