MorphoTrust Enrolls over One Million Americans in TSA Pre?®Over one million people are now enrolled in the Transportation Security Administration's TSA Pre?® program, MorphoTrust USA (Safran) said today. Americans interested in enrolling in TSA Pre?® are encouraged to begin the application process by pre-enrolling online and then making an appointment at a local center. Upon arrival, trained agents verify approved identity documents (a birth certificate or passport and another government issued ID) and obtain biographic information before live-scanning applicants' fingerprints and securely transmitting the application package to TSA for review. The agency completes the application vetting process and issues a Known Traveler Number (KTN) via mail once the application is approved. An applicant can check the status online by visiting https://universalenroll.dhs.gov/ and clicking on "Check Status." Applicants pay an $85 processing fee, which covers five years of access to TSA Pre?®. The entire application process takes just a few weeks to complete.
