(NASDAQ: CDNS) and Hillcrest Labs today announced that a port of Hillcrest's patented Freespace® always-on sensing software is now available for Cadence® Tensilica® digital signal processors (DSPs). With Tensilica DSPs and the Freespace software, designers can develop chips for advanced activity tracking, intelligent context awareness, intuitive gesture recognition, accurate navigation and other functions in wearable electronics and mobile devices. Hillcrest's SH-1 Sensor Hub is scheduled to be demonstrated from March 2 to 6, 2015, at the Cadence booth in hall 6, stand 6L36, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
