Siemens Announces 2015 Automation Summit Program


Siemens (News - Alert) is proud to announce that innovator and business futurist Nicholas J Webb will provide the keynote address during the company's 2015 Automation Summit at Aria (News - Alert) Resort in Las Vegas, Nev., June 22-25. Webb, author of "The Innovation Playbook" and "The Digital Innovation Playbook," is a successful inventor with a wide range of patented technologies including one of the world's smallest medical implants and the popular Hanz® line of educational toys.

Certificates will be distributed to those individuals completing training courses, which may then be submitted for professional development hours. Classes are scheduled to cover PROFINET & Ethernet/IPTM with SINAMICS Drives; SIMATIC S7-1500F Safety Controller; PCS 7 Alarm Management Best Practices; PCS 7 V8.1 engineering, operations and simulation tools; SIMATIC Ident; and Industrial Wireless.

User-led breakout sessions are scheduled featuring best practices on topics such as energy and asset management; productivity and efficiency; maintenance and operations; and safety and industrial security.
