BannerZest 4 Now Available on the Mac App Store

NEW YORK, January 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

Available today, French digital publishing developer Aquafadas' popular BannerZest app makes it easier than ever to create stunning animated slideshows that can be viewed on any desktop or mobile browser. In its latest iteration, BannerZest offers the ability to create slideshows and banners in HTML5-now the leading standard for animated web content.

For version 4, Aquafadas has completely redesigned the user interface, making it sleeker and more intuitive. Users only need to drag and drop images from their hard drive into BannerZest and choose one of 22 brand-new HTML5 animation themes. BannerZest will automatically crop your images to standardize their sizes, however, the app's built-in photo editor makes it possible to resize or crop your photos manually after import. Navigation between slides can be fully automated, or can include buttons for the end-userto control. Each banner image can also be linked to a web address, making it a popular choice for creating animated featured image sliders on blogs and online magazines. In addition, BannerZest offers the ability to enhance slideshows with sound, utilizing the same easy drag-and-drop interface for adding audio files to a project.

Exporting a project has gotten easier in BannerZest 4 as well! Users are given the choice of exporting their project to their hard drive, directly to an FTP server or to their Dropbox account. The addition of Dropbox integration is a great feature for casual bloggers using a third-party platform such as Wordpress or Tumblr, as it eliminates the need to host their own content.

BannerZest 4 is also available in a Pro version, which adds the ability to publish in both Flash and HTML5 and adds an additional 47 animation presets. The Pro version is available for $89 on the Aquafadas online store, but users of previous Pro versions will be able to purchase an upgrade for $39.

BannerZest 4 is available on the Mac App Store for $9.99.
