Reveille Software Delivers New, Unmatched Visibility into ECM Transactions

Enterprise content management systems are increasingly being used to drive customer-facing, business-critical applications. With today's release of Reveille 7.5 from Reveille Software, organizations now have advanced capabilities to monitor, measure and manage their ECM environments, including end-to-end ECM transaction visibility.

"ECM environments are growing in complexity and require end-to-end root cause visibility to get ahead of potential problems that can affect users and potentially impact revenue," said Melissa Sterrett Baron, senior director of product management and professional services for Reveille Software. "Reveille's commitment to delivering deep analysis of the key business functionality of the ECM system led us to our latest release, which enables faster issue resolution, greater ECM coverage and improved administrative capabilities."

Key features of the Reveille 7.5 release

  • End-to-End EMC® Documentum® Visibility. When using a customer-facing web client, such as Documentum WebTop™, Documentum D2™,CMIS, or REST based applications with Documentum, Reveille users can now "unlock the Documentum black box" -- going beyond round-trip performance times to seeing the actual response times of the individual DFC™ and SQL server transactions. By gaining visibility into performance at the DFC and SQL transaction level, Reveille users can more quickly identify the root cause of a problem and discover trends in volume and usage across the infrastructure tiers.
  • Application Management for Microsoft® SharePoint® Online: Reveille has grown its support for Microsoft ECM products from SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 to include SharePoint Online. Revelle for Microsoft SharePoint Online enables organizations to track site performance, storage size and other characteristics to better manage the performance and end-user experience of SharePoint Online. Through pre-defined scorecards, organizations can trend performance and define acceptable service levels to feed automatic notifications to existing system management frameworks.
  • Advanced Graphical Dashboards. Reveille's powerful management solution gathers and provides performance information for all critical ECM components and processes. With Reveille 7.5, new graphical dashboards are available to quickly view trends at-a-glance. A Health Check Dashboard enables users to quickly select desired metrics to view current averages, as well as see the high and low trends over a custom timeframe.

Reveille 7.5 also includes new scorecards, certifications for EMC (News - Alert) Captiva® 7.1 and EMC Documentum xCP™ 2.1, and other enhancements to ensure low total cost of ownership and ease of ongoing management for the Reveille solution.

According to recent Forrester (News - Alert) research note, Increased Satisfaction with ECM Driven by Data and Engagement with Business Stakeholders, "It takes ongoing analysis, refinement, and feedback across the deployment life cycle - not just on initial rollout - to optimize technology features, modify business processes, and change user behaviors."1

Organizations looking to optimize their ECM deployments and increase ECM user adoption can leverage Reveille's proactive application management capabilities to gather, trend and report on key performance metrics - enabling continuous improvement and ensuring optimal performance to ensure user satisfaction and application use.

Reveille provides application management for enterprise content management repositories, capture solutions and archival solutions from EMC, IBM (News - Alert), Kofax and Microsoft.

The announcement follows Reveille's launch of its service level management solution, Reveille Insight for EMC® InfoArchive™.
