Collision Repair Education Foundation Recognizes AudaExplore as Lifetime Contributor of Over $5 Million in Donations

AudaExplore, the US business unit of Solera (News - Alert) Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SLH) and a leading data-driven solution provider to insurance carriers, repairers, dealerships, fleet owners and suppliers, and the Collision Repair Education Foundation, a philanthropic organization that enables education activities for the collision repair industry, announced that AudaExplore has been recognized as a lifetime donor of over $5 million in in-kind and cash donations. Vocational and technical schools across the country benefit from free comprehensive software and training packages provided by AudaExplore in conjunction with the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

"AudaExplore plays a vital role in supporting the next generation of world-class automotive technicians to ensure they are career-ready," said, Clark Plucinski, Executive Director of the Collision Repair Education Foundation. "We presented AudaExplore with the lifetime donor award at SEMA this year to show our appreciation for the company's valuable contributions to our students. The opportunity to train with the most advanced software is broadening the knowledge base of the next generation of automotive repair professionals."

Vocational and technical schools throughout the country can qualify to receive a comprehensive software and training package powered by AudaExplore technology at no cost by completing an online survey conducted by the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The software package includes a premier training program complete with AudaExplore's Estimating platform with three-dimensional graphics and tire and frame databases.

"As vehicle technology evolves and the world becomes increasingly digitized, it's important that we equip the next generation of repairers with the tools necessary to navigate this Era of Disruption," said Rick Tuuri, Vice President of Industry Relations. "We're investing in the future of our industry by providing schools across the nation access to the software and technology needed to elvate students' operational skills training. We're honored to be celebrating this milestone with the Collision Repair Education Foundation and look forward to our continued support of educational growth through our Educational Institutions programs."

Richard DiPronio, Auto Body Repair Department Chair and Erie Community College, recognizes the value this program holds for his students, beyond just their schooling years. "I would like to thank AudaExplore for their subscription to the Autobody program at Erie Community College. The system is very user-friendly and allows students to gain experience and improve their skills in the area of damage reporting" said, DiPronio. "The software gives students the opportunity to acquire real world experience that mirrors what is used in the collision industry today. The result from all of the fore-mentioned facts will be graduates from the ECC program entering the collision industry with a higher level of competency and knowledge thus greatly increasing their employability."

For more than 40 years, AudaExplore has delivered data-driven innovation for collision, glass and mechanical repair customers. Advancements not only reduce costs and shorten cycle times for the repair shop, but also integrate owner-facing technology that creates surprising visibility into their claims and repair experience. In addition to its relationship with the Collision Repair Education Foundation, the company's commitment to building sustainable roots for lasting change is further solidified by programs such as Solera's LIFT to LIFE program.
