This 11th edition of the event broke all previous records for attendance, with more than 1600 delegates who engaged in four days of intensive learning, networking and partnering.

The event featured a vibrant program that kicked off with one-day symposiums on innovation through integration process development, cell therapy bioprocessing, antibody-drug conjugates, knowledge management across the product and process lifecycle and raw materials continuity and transparency.

On Tuesday, October 21 the main conference programming began and spanned the full spectrum of bioprocessing coverage with tracks on cell culture & upstream processing, recovery & purification, manufacturing strategy, formulation & delivery and analytical & quality and the new success factors for early stage biologics and early stage companies session - which was a must attend.

Enlightening keynote presentations were given by industry visionaries; John G. Category: End User/Manufacturer
Winner: Li Zhang, Boehringer Ingelheim
"High Throughput Methods Evaluation for Impurities Determination During In-Process Development"

"BioProcess International continues to be the leading event in the biologics industry, and is firmly established as the go-to meeting for getting collaborations started," said Elizabeth Cutler, Managing Director, IBC Life Sciences. "The 8 percent growth in delegates attending BioProcess International was driven in part by the many exciting program features that we added, such as the BPI Theater and a strong focus on early-stage companies. Our event partners, 3M (News - Alert), Pall Life Sciences, Thermo Fisher and Roche were instrumental to making the 2014 edition of BPI a significant success."
