Starting with immediate effect, Coleman assumes responsibility for TestPlants ambitious growth objectives across the UK and continental Europe. The role opened following Richard Wards move to the USA to become TestPlants President in the Americas. Coleman joins TestPlant from The Open Data Institute (ODI), founded by Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt and Sir Tim Berners-Lee, where he led a team focused on building big data related services with key digital industries. Coleman has a strong pedigree in business development, and has extensive sales experience at large enterprise software companies like CA and HP, as well as successful stints at start-up companies, including the successful EMEA launch of US company OutStart. During his career, Coleman has closed multi-million dollar software deals and has secured key contracts with large companies such as BP, Autodesk, SAP and SAS.
