Intellicheck Mobilisa Wins $300K Contract to Install Defense ID System at Fort Meade

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. --(Business Wire)--

Intellicheck Mobilisa, Inc. (NYSE MKT:IDN), a global leader in identity solutions and wireless security systems, has been awarded another contract for approximately $300K for its Defense ID® system. This system will be installed at Fort George G. Meade, a U.S. Army base in Maryland, to upgrade their current Defense ID system, and is expected to be installed by close of third quarter.

This upgrade will include an IM3000 Visitor Vendor Center and additional IM2610 handheld identification card readers. With the addition of the Visitor Vendor Center, the base will now be able to issue local access credentials to be scanned at the gate for positive identification of anyone visiting the facility. The award also includes the addition of the Fugitive Finder component, which allows for live National Crime Information Center (NCIC) checks for everyone requesting access to the base. Fort Meade has also optioned an IM5100 Control Server to make this a secure, stand-alone system. This upgrade will complement Fort Meade's current and continued use of the IM2500 handheld identification card readers.

Dr. Nelson Ludlow, CEO of Intellicheck Mobilisa, said, "Fort Meade is one of the most important military installations in the country, sering as the headquarters of the United States Cyber Command, National Security Agency, Defense Courier Service and Defense Information Systems Agency. Our Defense ID System will serve as an additional layer of security for base personnel."
