inxire: More Open Source Power for ECM

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany --(Business Wire)--

At the Oracle (News - Alert) OpenWorld in San Francisco at the end of September, inxire will present to the open source and CM SDK community its high-performance Enterprise Content Management infrastructure - the new and improved ECMSDK.

Soon after Oracle released its CM SDK to the open source community at the beginning of 2014, inxire decided to take the lead in the further development of the solution and to provide comprehensive support for it. inxire was able to attract several specialists from the Oracle environment, including the developer and Chief Architect of Oracle CM SDK, Dave Long, and the Product Manager, Frank Closheim.

The initial results of the newly formed international development team have significantly surpassed the originally defined targets. ECMSDK is a robust, scalable and flexible development and runtime environment for business-critical ECM applications, which has now been released for Oracle Database 12c and is also compatible with Java 1.7. The new ECMSDK offers greater performance through support of in-memory concepts and it provides a user-friendly management interface. In addition, ECMSDK introduces new features for context-sensitive conversations and notifications, which will enable enhanced social interaction with its contents. This means that ECMSDK is the world's first open source product for social ECM.

The application areas go far beyond the classic ECM. As Frank Closheim, Product Managerof ECMSDK, explains: "The spectrum of solutions that can be covered with this platform is huge. These can include solutions for sophisticated ECM environments, such as compliance, data security, archiving, SAP (News - Alert) integration, and the development of Social Enterprise and corporate communications. In addition, complex requirements relating to content storage, transactional file systems and big data applications can be easily implemented. I'm convinced that the community will be impressed by ECMSDK."

Globally, ECMSDK is attracting a lot of attention. New customers such as Volkswagen AG and Deutsche Bahn AG have already opted for inxire technology.

"Companies believe that the long-term future of the CM SDK technology is secure and they are well aware of the power, performance and stability of the platform", summarizes Toni Schnell (Managing Director) following numerous conversations with customers and interested parties.

inxire invites customers, partners, and interested parties to visit them at Booth 2343, Moscone South at the Oracle OpenWorld 2014, from September 28 thru October 2, in the Moscone Center, San Francisco. inxire is celebrating the new product, ECMSDK, and the launch of www.ecmsdk.com.

Of course, you are also welcome to visit inxire in Germany at the DOAG Conference + Exhibition in Nuremberg from November 18 to 20. Here you can find out all you need to know about ECMSDK.
