New EnGenius Media Bridge/Access Point Enhances Home and Small Office Experiences within Internet of Things Movement

Featuring a unique design that incorporates an N300 wireless access point and a 5-port Gigabit switch, the ETA1305 can be used to wirelessly connect home entertainment devices in a game room, basement, or kid's playroom located away from the family's existing wireless router. Fast, Reliable Connectivity Throughout the Home or Office for Ethernet-Enabled and Wireless Devices

The ETA1305 delivers wireless speeds up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz frequency band and can connect up to five Ethernet-enabled entertainment or office devices to the network at Gigabit Ethernet speeds for optimal data throughput and enhanced media streaming. The versatile product includes two operation modes - Client Bridge and Access Point (News - Alert). When set to Client Bridge mode, Ethernet-enabled devices connected to the Gigabit Ethernet ports can join an existing wireless network. In Access Point mode, the ETA1305 can extend the overall range and coverage of a home or small office's existing wireless network to provide wireless access in previously hard-to-connect areas.

Unique Design Enables Security, Performance while Minimizing Unsightly Cabling

The ETA1305 features an integrated power module design, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter and allowing it to be placed virtually anywhere and hidden from view behind home entertainment devices or office equipment connected to it. For better off-the-floor Ethernet cable management, the ETA1305 has a magnetized back panel for attaching to metal furniture or fixtures, enabling it to be placed practically anywhere.

To prevent unauthorized access to the existing wireless network, the ETA1305 supports several security features and settings including industry-standard WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. For easy and secure setup of the network, the WPS button can be used to quickly connect devices without the hassle of initially configuring the ETA1305.
