(NYSE: LVLT) today announced Turavion, an in-bound travel and tourism agency, has selected Level 3's Data Center Services in Chile to outsource its IT platform.



Turavion needed to improve its systems availability and disaster recovery processes to streamline the availability and security of its information and communications systems. Through Level 3's services, Turavion can access redundant information, as well as virtualized and back-up servers through a private network.

As a large, multi-location company, Turavion requires maximum availability of information systems to assist both domestic and foreign customers from Europe, the United States and Asia. Direct connectivity to Level 3 data centers will deliver scalable solutions to help Turavion improve systems availability and provide disaster recovery capabilities to gain redundant and reliable access to their critical data. To provide greater flexibility, speed and security for their platforms and to reduce total operating costs, Turavion also is using Level 3's virtualized private network (VPN) services.
