SageBIOS BSP for 'Steppe Eagle' goes to final testing

(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 06 August 2014 Release date- 04082014 - Sage Electronic Engineering has begun final testing on a SageBIOS Board Support Package (BSP) for the AMD chip line codenamed 'Steppe Eagle' and expects a BSP release in mid-September.

Steppe Eagle is an embedded G-Series SoC (System on Chip) AMD release with a configurable TDP as low as 5W. Steppe Eagle is designed to work in the harshest environments, and includes a graphics processing unit based on AMD's Graphics Core Next architecture, as well as native support for OpenCL.
