Malwarebytes Appoints Two New Senior Executives to Drive Product Growth

Malwarebytes, the company founded to protect people and businesses from advanced online threats, today announces the appointment of Chad Bacher as Vice President of Products and Mark Patton as Vice President of Engineering. Both will join the Executive Team, which has responsibility for formulating and delivering overall strategy.
Chad joins from Webroot, where he was the company's Chief Product Officer with responsibility for over 20 products in the consumer, SMB, enterprise and OEM markets. At Malwarebytes, he is tasked with defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for the entire product portfolio. This includes a flagship Windows offering with over 300m installs, a fast-growing enterprise offering and an Android app with over 1m downloads.
Mark was previously Vice President of R&D at GFI, managing a team across five countries to oversee product architecture and development. At Malwarebytes, he will help further develop existing products and create exciting new technology aimed at protecting consumers, businesses and mobile users from advanced online threats.
