Orchestro Sees Continued Growth in Demand Analytics; Expands Executive Team

MCLEAN, Va. --(Business Wire)--

Orchestro Inc., the market leader in demand analytics and orchestration, today announced continued positive trends on their business and expanded its executive management team. Orchestro's customers recognize the importance of leveraging retailer, syndicated, and supply chain data to drive actionable demand intelligence. Orchestro's clients leverage the company's powerful analytics software built on an enterprise-class demand signal repository (DSR) to increase on-shelf availability, run more impactful promotions and invest in the right category expansions.

"The analytic capabilities of demand signal repositories (DSRs) can provide a framework from which to drive the operations of a consumer goods business, and to drive a wide spectrum of planning and information systems," stated Gartner (News - Alert) analyst Steve Steutermann in a recent report (Gartner, Hype Cycle for Consumer Goods, 2014, Don Scheibenreif, Dale Hagemeyer, 21 July 2014), "They can also be a critical tool to identify new sales opportunities, manage stock more effectively, drive agile responses, provide a basis for business forecasting and planning, and link suppliers to downstream data."

Market traction and highlights for the first half of 2014 include:

  • Continues Revenue Growth: Orchesto saw continued traction in SaaS (News - Alert) bookings with double-digit growth in the first half of 2014 compared to the same period in 2013.
  • Rapid Adoption of SaaS Analytics: Orchestro's customers embrace new cloud-native V8 platform, powering omni-channel demand analytics within their highest volume distribution points.
  • Deepens Executive Bench: Orchestro added several new executives, including Abdul Omar, Chief Financial Officer; Anuj Agrawal, VP Product Marketing; and Amit Mathuria, VP Customer Success.

Mr. Omar was previously with Infor and Software AG, and has over 20 years of experience in finance, performance management, mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, and financial reporting, including systems and internal controls.

Mr. Agrawal has a long history in product management and product marketing in both big data and high technology companies, including IXI Corporation (acquired by Equifax), Intel (News - Alert) and Virgin Mobile USA.

Mr. Mathuria has a deep background in delivering value-added consulting and other services to CPG companies, including with SAP (News - Alert) America, AT Kearney and Clarkson Consulting.

"We're thrilled to add these talented executives to our company," said Prashanth (PV) Boccasam, CEO of Orchestro. "By further strengthening our management team, we are now better aligned to serve our rapidly growing customer and partner base, and enhance our product offerings that deliver quantifiable business value to our customers."
