Indix Announces New Release of Product Intelligence API & "KickStart" Program for Early-Stage Startups

SEATTLE --(Business Wire)--

Indix, a cloud-based product intelligence platform that provides analytics and insights for brands, retailers and developers, today announced it has released Version 1.0 of the Indix API to tap into Indix's product intelligence platform's assets, including its entire product catalog and pre-computed insights.

With Indix product intelligence API software, developers can build product-aware applications that have access to real time offers and catalog product information.

Indix launched the beta version of its API in November 2013. Version 1.0 is a culmination of all feedback received on its beta fro customers, third party developers and product experts.

Today, many brands and retailers are using the Indix API to gain deeper insights into not only their own offerings but also their competitors' products. Developers are using Indix API to build applications such as curated e-commerce storefronts, customized product search, and personalized product catalogs.

"As commerce becomes more pervasive and dynamic, businesses have to leverage customer intelligence, business intelligence, and product intelligence to deliver the right product to the right customer at the right time at the right price, through their apps and websites," said Sanjay Parthasarathy, founder and CEO of Indix. "With the Indix API, brands, retailers, and developers will now have access to critical product data on hundreds of millions of products and a comprehensive set of product attributes instantly."

To celebrate version 1.0, Indix has also launched KickStart, an initiative targeted to third-party developers that offers a discount for early-stage startups. KickStart will allow startups with less than $1 million in funding and $100,000 in revenue access to the Indix API at a reduced price point. Interested startups can send an email to [email protected]. You can read more about it on the company blog post here.

"With our new KickStart program, startups can obtain product-related information easily and affordably as they begin their journey of creating product-aware applications," added Parthasarathy.
