BT TV updates user interface to be simpler and faster
(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BT TV is giving its user interface a fresh new look that will also make it easier and faster for viewers to find the programmes they want to watch.
The update will improve the BT TV Player on YouView and the user interface on the previous BT Vision service.
BT TV has responded to customer feedback and research to help shape the simpler new look.
New features include more intuitive navigation, quicker links to recent activity on the homepage and a new colour palate.
All BT TV customers with YouView and BT Vision+ will benefit from the redesign. It will be rolled out to YouView box customers in July and to customers with a BT Vision+ box in the autumn.
Alex Green, director of BT TV, said: Our update is more than just a makeover. It will improve the performance of BT TV for customers, making navigation easier and faster. This follows our move from the BT Vision brand to simply using the BT master brand to cover our TV services.
