Corsair Selects One Source Networks to Expand Global Communications Capabilities
(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 06/16/14 --
One Source Networks (OSN), the global voice and managed network services partner of choice for large enterprises, today announced that it has been chosen by Corsair to provide the company with network connectivity, call center and content delivery network (CDN) services.
Corsair is a worldwide leader in PC gaming hardware, with products available in over 60 countries. To drive business growth and better serve its global customer base, the company sought to improve routing to its global call center and implement a high-performance CDN. OSN enabled Corsair to migrate its PBX functions to the cloud, providing advanced routing functionality while saving capex.
"The results of moving to a cloud-based PBX have been impressive," stated Michael Talens, director, Global IT Infrastructure, Corsair. "We are now able to intelligently route calls based upon caller location and time of day. This has enabled us to hire more specialized agents who can work from home and receive calls directly, without operator intervention. These capabilities ensure that our customers receive the best support for their unique requirements, quickly and efficiently."
Corsair was also looking to CDN technology to optimize website services for its customers around the world. Corsair customers access its website to purchase new products and download technical documentation and driver updates for current products. OSN partnered with a leading CDN provider to replicate Corsair's content across a global CDN, providing its customers with immediate access to the content they needed, regardless of where they were located.
In addition to Cloud PBX and CDN, OSN also connected Corsair's corporate sites utilizing a VPN solution, and included redundant Internet connectivity to prevent any downtime of critical operations.
"We are thrilled to have partnered with Corsair to help them meet their business challenges," stated Ernest Cunningham, CEO, One Source Networks. "At OSN, one of our core principles is to provide comprehensive communication capabilities, backed by the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of working with a single service provider. Our relationship with Corsair delivers on this promise, driving efficiency and increased business performance, for the company and its customers."
Corsair has already noticed improvements in the end-user experience through the enhancements to its call center capabilities. The company has also reduced transaction times from its website via the CDN, and is considering expanding both solutions in the future to meet growing requirements.
