Bare Metal ADC-OS Now Optimized for HP ProLiant Server

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/10/14 -- KEMP Technologies, the leading price-to-performance provider of application-centric load balancers for the ADC (Application Delivery Controller) market, announced today that its LoadMaster Operating System (LMOS) is now optimized for bare metal operation on the HP ProLiant DL Series servers.

LMOS for HP ProLiant provides HP customers with flexible scalability for application growth and increased performance for the modern software-defined data center. With bare metal installation and no abstraction layer between the LoadMaster and the underlying hardware, applications no longer need to communicate with a load balancing appliance external to the ProLiant infrastructure. Therefore, communication paths and response times can be minimized, avoiding conventional latency challenges.

Supra ITS, an HP CloudAgile Partner, is just one organization benefitting from KEMP's new technology. "Our partnership with KEMP enables us to deliver unique products and services to our clients from our cloud infrastructure based on the HP Cloud System," said Supra ITS CEO Sanjeev Spolia. "KEMP continues to be an innovator and industry disruptor in delivering another industry changing Bare Metal ADC appliance." The synergy of application-centric load-balancing software from KEMP and the HP ProLiant DL server platform will allow administrators to benefit from functionality that exploits the reliability of the ProLiant server family. Application solutions can now be optimized for production workload and business-critical applications, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems that require even higher standards of availability and performance.

"As enterprise customers are expected to handle increasingly heavy workloads, the LoadMaster provides powerful, scalable application delivery in order to maintain performance and availability across the infrastructure," said Peter Melerud, EVP-Product Management and co-founder, at KEMP Technologies.
