Smart voice app developer to share best practices at August 11 event

Norwalk, Conn.-April 21, 2014-TMC (News - Alert) and HD Voice News announced today that ColdSmoke has signed on to be a Diamond Sponsor for the SmartVoice Conference, held August 11, 2014, at The Rio in Las Vega, Nevada. Smart voice services, such as call recording/archiving, hypervoice text-to-speech indexing, voice biometrics and voice analytics give companies the opportunity to turn communications into profitable information. This event will bring vendors, service providers, call center operators, resellers and end-users together to discuss new technologies, essential issues and trends relating to the smart voice industry.

ColdSmoke is a new patent pending technology from Natural Language Processing Technologies, LLC (NLP). NLP is a high tech start-up company providing Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)). In addition to ColdSmoke, NLP has a Software Developer Kit (SDK) for mapping natural language to web services APIs. Initial applications are "VoiceForce" to interface with SalesForce.com and "Her," a free smartphone application for online shopping, travel and hotel reservations.

"The ColdSmoke Platform will enable companies that use Web technology to provide a voice user interface," said Yada Schneider, ColdSmoke president. "We have demonstrated this technology with the launch of 'Her' and 'VoiceForce.''

"ColdSmoke is producing cutting-edge applications and platforms within the smart voice space," said Doug Mohney, HD Voice News editor-in-chief and conference chairman. "As smart voice technology continues to evolve and adapt to businesses' needs, the insight that companies like ColdSmoke can share with our attendees is essential."
