SmartBear Software Earns 2nd Straight Revvie Award from Marketo
BEVERLY, Mass. --(Business Wire)--

management tools, was honored with a 2014 Revvie Award by Marketo,
Inc. (NASDAQ: MKTO), the leading provider of marketing software, for
the Most Creative Integrated Marketing Campaign - B2B. SmartBear
utilized Marketo (News - Alert) to maximize the results of a year-end sales campaign to
generate additional revenue from seven products across four markets. As
a result, the company increased revenue 685 percent from the previous
year's campaign, attained 111 percent of its conversions goal and 207
percent of a record-level revenue goal. Last year, SmartBear won a 2013
Revvie Award for Most Dramatic Business Impact - B2B.

This award-winning campaign out-performed SmartBear's highest
revenue-generating campaign of its kind, from just the previous quarter.
The approach was to differentiate the campaign from the clutter of
countless other end-of-year promotions, while focusing on
personalization and facilitating quality interactions with the sales
organization. Key tactics included dynamic email marketing, use of video
on landing pages and lead scoring. The campaign was able to
significantly expand reach outside the existing database.
Winners were announced on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Marketo's
Marketing Nation Summit in San Francisco, CA (News - Alert). At the event, Gary
Deasi, Senior Marketing Manager and SmartBear lead on the
award-winning team, presented, "Maximizing the ROI of Every Lead:
Advanced Lead Nurturing, Database Segmentation and Dynamic Targeting,"
In the session, Gary discussed how to use Marketo to collect and utilize
custom, critical data for your business to multiply engagement levels,
conversion rates and ROI with database segmentation and dynamic content,
through outbound email, lead nurturing and scoring. Bryan Semple
presented, "Build a High Performance, High Velocity, Lead-Generating B2B
Machine," drawing on his own personal journey building the systems,
processes and marketing organization to deliver high volumes of leads
for an inside sales team.
Gary Deasi has superpowers in demand generation, lead nurturing and
marketing automation. Prior to SmartBear, he coordinated demand

This is his second Revvie win. Prior to joining SmartBear, Bryan Semple
was CMO at VKernel and then Dell (News - Alert), VKernel Division. He was also Vice
