Alpheus Communications and UNSi Sign NNI Agreement
HOUSTON & LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)--
Alpheus Communications (News - Alert) today announced the signing of a
network-to-network interface (NNI) agreement with United Network
Services, Inc. (UNSi), giving the leading provider of next-generation
voice and data services expanded coverage in Texas via Alpheus'
high-quality fiber network.
Alpheus owns and operates one of the most extensive fiber networks in
Texas. With its dense metro fiber reach, Alpheus has broad Ethernet
service availability, reaching 129,000 Ethernet-qualified locations.
UNSi chose Alpheus to serve a more diverse customer base throughout
Texas with fiber and traditional telecom services. The NNI agreement
helps UNSi provide Ethernet services to targeted customers including
large enterprises that operate multiple sites across the country.
