Based on traditional video management systems, ZTE developed the function of identifying faces and license plates among massive video clips and integrated gathering, mining and analysing massive checkpoint data. This makes the CAS industry's first practical system that achieves a comprehensive analysis of video and checkpoints vehicle clues.

At the end of 2013, ZTE unveiled its new strategy and the development of three major divisions - terminal, enterprise and operator business divisions. The enterprise business contributed approximately 10 percent of the ZTE's annual revenue in 2013 and is scheduled to achieve 30 percent of the company's overall revenue in the coming three to five years, becoming one of the company's major pillars of growth and profit.
