Release date- 13032014 - Extensia- Find The City, The Popular Geography Mobile Game from BrilliSoft and Extentia, Goes Social.
Find the City is a fun and educational geography mobile game, for 'kids' of all ages.
At the start of a round, you are asked to find a city, which could be anywhere in the world. Your goal is to find the city on the map as quickly as possible, by flicking and pinching the screen and tapping a button when you have the city in your crosshairs. The closer you get to the target city and the quicker you find it, the more points you get.
BrilliSoft and Extentia recently released version 3.0 of the popular game. Find the City now has a multiplayer mode, which allows you to challenge your friends - via Facebook, email, or text message - to try beat your score, by finding the same 10 cities faster than you, but in under 300 seconds.
You can challenge people even if you have an iPhone and they have an Android or Windows phone. After you've played a round and challenged your friends to try beat your score, you can check scores and ranking within the game to see how you're doing. You can also share your score and ranking on social networks.
The game was originally launched only on the Windows Phone platform. Find the City was released in November 2012 and is currently in the top 3 of educational games on the platform in most markets around the world.
Here is what some users have to say about the game:
'Fun for adults. Can't wait to have my kids okay it.' - Ben
'It educates while you are having fun. Awesome!!' - Hakan
'Fun game, learning geography the easy way!' - Myra
Android and iPhone users were only recently introduced to the game and it is beginning to gain momentum. Now that multiplayer mode is added, downloads have dramatically increased, because users are inviting their friends to play.
Find the City is a great way to learn geography while having fun. There are currently 10,000 cities included in the game and more will be added over time. Although the game is relatively easy in levels 1 to 3 (target cities are all capital cities), it becomes progressively more difficult as you move through the levels.
The next version of Find the City and will include numerous levels of difficulty, some educational components (such as interesting facts on cities, once you find them), and numerous other features.
