TITUS Announces Integration with McAfee Enterprise Security Manager

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--

RSA (News - Alert) Conference 2014 (Booth 801 - South Expo Hall)

TITUS, a leading provider of security and compliance solutions for email and documents, today announced that their flagship classification products - TITUS Message Classification and TITUS Classification for Microsoft Office are officially McAfee (News - Alert) Compatible with McAfee Enterprise Security Manager.

McAfee Enterprise Security Manager integrates security intelligence with information management for enterprise situational awareness. The product connects real-time understanding of the world outside-threat data, reputation data, and vulnerability news-with a real-time understanding of the systems, data, and activities inside the enterprise.

By using TITUS Classification with McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, organizations will have the ability to enhance valuable risk analysis capabilities. While McAfee Enterprise Security Manager is monitoring what is happening on the network in real time, TITUS Classification provides context to activities occurring on the desktop and netwrk. For example, network administrators will be notified when email classifications are downgraded from "Internal Only" to "Public" and attempts are made to send to an external email address; or when Microsoft (News - Alert) Office files previously classified as "Secret" are downgraded to a lower-level classification.

"TITUS has been a partner in the McAfee SIA program for a number of years, and their classification solutions are already a great complement to McAfee Data Loss Prevention and ePO," said Ed Barry, Vice president of the Security Innovation Alliance, McAfee. "We are pleased to further strengthen our relationship with TITUS through this integration of McAfee Enterprise Security Manager and TITUS Classification"

"This powerful combination of TITUS Classification and McAfee Enterprise Security Manager further establishes our relationship with McAfee security products," said Tim Upton, Founder, President and CEO of TITUS. "We are confident that our joint customers will be pleased with this integration and will find that by utilizing these solutions together, they will be able to effectively identify, secure and share sensitive information."

TITUS Message Classification ensures that all Microsoft Outlook email messages are classified before they are sent. Labels are fully customizable to meet internal and regulatory marking standards, and can be used to indicate any type of information, such as data sensitivity (Public, Confidential) and department (HR, Finance). With TITUS Classification for Microsoft Office, all Microsoft Office documents are classified before they can be saved, printed, or sent via email.

You can visit TITUS at McAfee booth 3203 in the North Expo Hall at RSA 2014.
