The cooperation between Ziraat Bank and KOBIL reached a whole new level

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Worms / Istanbul - A provider of IT security solutions for the finance industry and a specialist on the field of digital identity, KOBIL expanded its cooperation with Ziraat Bank, which started back in 2006. With this agreement, the "Application Security Technology", an innovative and modular security platform developed by KOBIL, will be integrated to the IT infrastructure of Ziraat Bank to make online banking processes easier and safer than ever. Through this cooperation, Ziraat Bank customers are expected to use KOBIL AST's secure messaging infrastructure instead of SMS for online banking transactions.

A new chapter has been opened in the 8 years of cooperation between Ziraat Bank and KOBIL, a market leading trendsetter in the production of innovative technologies in the data and digital identity sector. Within the scope of recent cooperation, AST (Application Security Technology), an innovative solution by KOBIL will protect Ziraat Bank's online banking services for its clients.

Through their mobile devices, Ziraat Bank customers will make their online banking transactions even safer The main difference of the AST solution, which ensures security of operations at numerous banks abroad, the large majority of shares being in Swiss and German banks, from its counterparts, is that it automatically performs the majority of security operations thus providing the utmost convenience for the end user. In addition to two-factor authentication, the AST solution secures the banks' websites and mobile applications with a software security layer. Thus the customers will not encounter the risk of cyber-attack whilst performing operations even on public computers and smart phones not equipped with firewall software. KOBIL's solution, designed to work on all platforms and devices including iPhones, iPads, Android and Windows, automatically ensures security, thus eliminating the end user's possible concerns and greatly benefiting the banks through increased customer satisfaction.

Through the plans under new agreement, Ziraat Bank customers are expected to use AST's secure messaging infrastructure instead of using SMS to reach the banking system. Starting from June, Ziraat customers will be able to use online banking services through the secure infrastructure designed by KOBIL.
