Product Updates

Total Defense announced a major update to its cloud-based security service, Total Defense for Business. With this release, end users, as well as the company's managed service provider (MSP) partners, benefit from the real-time security visibility into their dynamic IT landscape that this release provides. Total Defense for Business is the industry's most complete offering for protecting against today's complex blended threats. Total Defense for Business combines the power, flexibility and ease of a cloud-based service offering with a seamlessly integrated suite of critical technologies - advanced endpoint anti-malware and application controls; Web filtering and malware protection; and anti-spam and email threat prevention.

The company also announced the launch of a new partner program, enabling MSPs to grow their businesses with the company's cloud-based web, email and endpoint security solutions. With this program, Total Defense provides MSPs the ability to confidently monitor, protect and manage their client's networks, while providing them with a recurring revenue stream unmatched by on-premise software and hardware solutions.

Strategic Partnerships/Customer Wins

  • Total Defense has grown to more than 1,000 customers on the Total Defense for Business cloud-based platform, including leading organizations in the government, healthcare, education and financial services sectors.
  • In October, Total Defense announced expansion into the DACH Region of Europe with the addition of ADN to its global network of distributors.
  • The company has seen significant growth in its consumer subscription business, with notable new partners including Staples (News - Alert) and Newegg.

Executive Leadership

Total Defense expanded its executive leadership team with the appointments of John Cassidy as Vice President, EMEA Sales, and Jon Botter as Vice President, North America Sales. Cassidy brings more than 15 years of experience in European IT sales leadership to his position at Total Defense. Botter brings strong expertise in taking rapid-growth companies to the next level, developing corporate partnerships and innovative sales operations.
