ClearConnex Inc: CLEARCONNEX MAKES IT SO TEMPERATURE MONITORING IS NOW IN THE CARDS
(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK (RTP), NORTH CAROLINA -- The Sierra Wireless Fastrack, Maestro Heritage and Option CloudGate wireless modems are all built with expansion card slots, allowing the addition of new sensing capabilities that have historically required a complete custom device design. Now it is time to put these modems to work to start taking temperatures. ClearConnex, the innovative wireless M2M device engineering company, announces today its newest start ahead building block, the Temperature Sensor Plus Card.
The Temperature Sensor Plus Card when combined with any off-the-shelf wireless modem with an expansion slot eliminates most of the cost and development time necessary to create a remote temperature monitor.
Temperature Sensing Made Easy.
The Temperature Sensor Plus Card adds numerous features to the Sierra Wireless Fastrack, or any other off-the-shelf modem with slight modification. The key feature is the ability to measure internal and external temperatures making this plug-in board ideal for cold chain, vending, or temperature monitoring in outdoor device installations. A microSD cardholder and Ethernet are also included.
WE CALL THEM "BUILDING BLOCKS" FOR A REASON.
ClearComm, ClearConnex's mature, proven, hardware agnostic device software platform supports the Temperature Sensor Plus Card. With ClearComm, customers will be able to collect temperature data and upload it to a server, set thresholds, monitor and generate reports.
CLEARCONNEX CUSTOMIZATION IS ALWAYS AN OPTION.
Does your product have unique requirements? Meeting those requirements may well be in the cards. In addition to customizing the Temperature Sensor Plus Card, ClearConnex engineers are able to build custom cards for any leading extensible modem and custom devices, to meet just about any specification.
Ryan Rangel President of ClearConnex states "The Temperature Sensor Plus Card is a great addition to our growing list of building blocks which also includes our GPS Plus Card II and MeshNet Plus Card. The fact that you can use these designs as a starting point and quickly get to market is exactly what our start ahead finish ahead philosophy is about."
