Data Protection Leading Topic at Storage Visions Conference Panel with Trusted Computing Group

PORTLAND, Ore. --(Business Wire)--

Storage Visions 2014, Jan. 5-6 in Las Vegas, Nev., will host members of the Trusted Computing Group to talk about data protection and how content can be secured against loss, theft and attacks.

The January 5 session, Keeping It Safe: Protecting, Storing and Recovering Personal and Commercial Content, will cover the challenges facing security and protection of stored content, including content on mobile devices as well as at home and in the cloud. The session also will look at the use of metadata for finding content and how standardized security products are making data security easier while enabling content sharing. Panelists also will discuss data recovery.

Jim Handy, Objective Analysis, will moderate the session. Speakers from DriveSavers Data Recovery, Kroll OnTrack, Micron, Data Confidential and Gillware will join Michael Willett of TCG's Sorage Work Group and Samsung (News - Alert).
