Opturo adds Cloud Hosting solution to available deployments
Oct 22, 2013 (MarketLine via COMTEX) --
Opturo, Inc., a provider of software-based solutions for performance and attribution, risk analysis, compositing for GIPS compliance, and investment process automation, has added Cloud Hosting to its available deployments.
Opturo's Cloud Hosting is backed by state-of-the-art technology to ensure multiple back-ups of data, continuous uptime, and many enhanced security features. Opturo's Cloud Hosting solution houses relevant client data on a remote database server. The data can be accessed by the client to run reports locally using Opturo's desktop-based software, in batch mode using Opturo's server-based deployment, or from any internet browser using Opturo's cloud-based applications: ODIN and ABE.
Opturo's highly trained staff provides the expertise to quickly load the client's data into the remote database server using the VIA platform. Opturo handles all server maintenance; provides continuous monitoring; and offers exceptional support to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Opturo President, Ken D'Silva, explains: "We see this as a win-win for our clients and for us. Our clients can have access to performance reporting 24/7/365 without the hassle and overhead of monitoring their own data environment, as well as with the peace of mind that their data is securely and continuously backed up. For us, we are able to provide an even higher level of support to our clients and immediately pinpoint data issues or any other problems that come up."
Opturo's VIA data management platform is deployed on the cloud instance to process data files (Text, Excel, XML, etc.) taken in any format and structure sent by the client or its back-office provider. Because of VIA's flexibility, the incoming data does not have to be preprocessed into any specific format or schema. Similarly the VIA platform can be deployed on the client's site to seamlessly extract data from client's systems and automatically load them to Opturo's cloud instance of the client's data.
