Wind River's board names Barry Mainz as president succeeding Ken Klein

Wind River, a provider of embedded software for intelligent connected systems and a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), revealed on Thursday that with the resignation of Ken Klein as its president, the board of directors named Barry Mainz as his successor, with immediate effect.
Klein will continue as a non-employee member of the board.
The company said that most recently, Mainz was the chief operating officer (COO) of the company, overseeing the strategic and operational leadership of worldwide sales, alliances, customer support, field technical engineering, IT, product management, sales operations and vertical marketing organisations. Earlier to that, he served as vice president of worldwide customer operations and grew the company's corporate sales function and led investments that now contribute to an award-winning customer-centric organisation.
