Patton Electronics, a US manufacturer of SmartNode VoIP equipment, has announced a new partnership with MTM Telecom.
Employing an extensive network of national distributor partners, MTM will disseminate Patton's SmartNode VoIP products and Patton's BODi rS high availability bonding routers throughout Mexico's burgeoning IP-communications market.
MTM Telecom, a stocking distributor that maintains local inventory, will support Mexico's vibrant UC market by providing near-immediate delivery of Patton products to customers in the region.
Local professionals within Mexico will benefit from educational opportunities as MTM offers sales and technical certification training for VoIP and IP-routing technologies.
In their first joint market offering, the Patton-MTM alliance makes a new bundled IP-communications solution available to Mexico regional customers. The bundle comprises Patton's SmartNode Branch eXchange (SNBX)an IP-PBX appliance with Windows 7 and 3CX phone system software pre-installedtogether with snom's SIP-based VoIP phones, and an optional SmartNode VoIP gateway, router or IAD.
The telephony bundle simplifies product-selection, purchasing and system-installation processes: integrators need only decide how many phones and simultaneous calls are required, and whether they are connecting legacy equipment to the IP-PBX infrastructure.
"The bundle makes buying and installing much, much easier," said Mr Agustin Martinez, MTM Telecom CEO. "Plus customers have a single point of contact for service. Now we can offer small and medium businesses a complete IP-communication solutionincluding Patton's extremely reliable VoIP gateways for integrating legacy network elements. We are quite happy to expand our portfolio with the addition of the Patton's SmartNode and BODi rS product lines."
"Having a single partner in the marketplace makes the solution very easy to source and deploy," said Antonio Torre, Patton's Country Manager for Mexico.
