Alaska Communications appoints SVP of managed services

Alaska Communications, a provider of broadband solutions, has appointed Randy Ritter, as senior vice president, or SVP, of managed services.
Ritter will lead Alaska Communications' growth in managed services for the business market segment. He brings to the company more than 20 years telecommunications experience and previously served in leadership roles at Sprint, One Communications and MacroSolve, Inc.
Alaska Communications' managed services will include managed local and wide-area network services, managed security, managed computing infrastructure, managed end-user devices, professional services, managed application availability and select software-as-a-service capabilities.
