tw telecom extends Bay Area network

tw telecom inc., a provider of managed services, has announced the extension of its current Bay Area network reportedly to various enterprise headquarters, offices and data center locations in Silicon Valley.
The network extension brings revolutionary communications capabilities to the business hubs of Menlo Park, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Redwood Shores, San Jose, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. tw telecom's Bay Area fiber network extends from south San Jose up the peninsula to San Francisco, throughout the East Bay into Oakland and Walnut Creek, and north to Sacramento.

Enterprises with tw telecom's Intelligent Network Enhanced Management and Dynamic Capacity services now have the additional capability to pre-set bandwidth utilization thresholds, without human intervention, to automatically double or triple network Business Ethernet bandwidth when reached.
