Devon IT Rolls Out Ceptor at Citrix Synergy 2013

Devon IT announced the Ceptor is available for immediate delivery.
According to a release, Devon IT's Ceptor, announced at Citrix Synergy 2013, is an ultra-small full-featured desktop device that plugs into an HDMI monitor or display and transforms it into a thin client.
"Ceptor is the most exciting device to be offered in the thin client computing market," exclaimed Joe Makoid, President, Devon IT. "By using advanced ARM technology Devon IT has engineered a full VDI desktop in a small form factor at a very low cost."
Devon IT noted that Ceptor is a thin client device. It is an ultra-compact multimedia-capable device is slightly larger than a USB memory stick that enables users to convert any HDMI capable TV or monitor into an interactive enterprise thin client device. Its small form factor offers a full virtual desktop experience at a low price point.
The Ceptor is an enterprise thin client device that operates with a Citrix, RDP or VMware environment. Ceptor uses a dual core ARM processor with Devon IT's thin client OS installed. The client device is managed by Devon IT's Echo thin client management software (included). When plugged into an HDMI monitor and network, Ceptor provides a full virtual desktop experience. It has integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capability for connecting to the network. Ceptor also includes USB On-The-Go via a USB-B micro host port as well as 1080P HD video output.
