Sep 17, 2013 (MarketLine via COMTEX) --
Comverse, a provider of telecom business solutions, and Alcatel Home and Business Phones, or Atlinks, a licensee of the Alcatel brand for home and business telephones, have announced a partnership to deliver communication solutions to medium and large enterprises.
The partnership reportedly combines the strength of Comverse in the operators' hosted enterprise VoIP market with the advanced functionality of Alcatel's newest, state-of-the-art communication devices for businesses.
Service providers gain a differentiated offering that paves the way for growth in the lucrative enterprise segment, and enterprises benefit with a cost-effective solution that introduces advanced features for a smarter business user experience: large information-rich display screen, highly customizable user interface with extended services for business requirements, improved security/ encryption features, high-definition voice, multiple SIP accounts and more. Interoperability testing validated support on the Comverse IP communications platform for all advanced feature sets of top-line Alcatel models Temporis IP 600 and IP 800.
"Comverse's leadership and expertise in converged IP communications is drawn from millions of VoIP lines in commercial service internationally, and our solution's customer experience is now further enhanced with the stunning new line of IP phones from Alcatel," said Gani Nayak, Comverse SVP, Systems & Solutions at Comverse.
"Providing outstanding IP-based services to governmental organizations and enterprises of all sizes is one of many ways that Comverse enables operators to modernize and optimize their existing services, address new markets, and build a growing base of users in the vital IP/Digital Lifestyle services arena."
