As the next step in their strategic alliance to bring Guardtime Keyless Signature Infrastructure (KSI) to the U.S. Federal market, Guardtime USA and Modern Technology Solutions (MTSI), announced two KSI product offerings, which address urgent Information Assurance (IA) and Software Assurance (SA) needs for Department of Defense, Intelligence Community (DoD/IC), and FedRAMP Cloud Service Provider (CSP) compliance.
According to a release, Guardtime KSI Active Integrity offers CSPs with scalable, real-time monitoring of enterprise digital assets and critical M2M interactions, while providing industry standard workflow and reporting interoperability. Customers can now be assured proof and reliability of their digital assets. FedRAMP certification evidence is now achievable via Active Integrity integration and addresses NIST requirements for 3PAO accreditation.
The Group noted that Guardtime KSI Mutual Auditability will offer CSPs, SOCs, and cloud tenants with fully transparent and 100 percent verifiable situational awareness of services, applications, and content, including document tracking, manipulation, and access monitoring, again in real-time. Defense Grade 'Black' SLAs are available providing 99.999 percent availability. Digital assets can now be monitored from the inside-out.
Both of these solutions support critical US DoD, IC and FedRAMP needs for IA and SA on Multi-Tenant, Federated environments, regardless of instantiation; as both on-premise and hybrid clouds. These products are key enablers for Government Service providers seeking Accreditation & FedRAMP compliance.
KSI products for the cloud represent one component of the National Security IA and SA Roadmap developed by MTSI and Guardtime USA to address the pressing digital asset integrity and reliability needs of Special Programs across the DoD and IC, including the priorities associated with insider threats, mobility, and supply chain.
Kevin Robinson, President of MTSI said: "MTSI and Guardtime recognize the tremendous demand for cloud-based services across DoD and IC Agencies, as well as the limits in available IA and SA solutions that meet the special requirements of these customers. With these KSI products aimed at the cloud, our partnership will enable the demand to be met by 'Defense Grade' solutions. Implementing KSI against these priorities extends MTSI's role as a trusted third party supporting critical U.S. Government activities."
Jim Blom, President of Guardtime USA, added: "Guardtime KSI represents a truly enabling solution set for IA and SA in the Federal cloud, as it scales to the required magnitudes, removes trusted third parties from the equation, and meets the compliance requirements necessary to operate cloud services on DoD and IC networks. Our partnership with MTSI offers this market a way ahead for integrity and mutual auditability that will become a catalyst for tremendous growth in DoD and IC use of cloud services."
