Lenovo Group to further expand shares in Malaysian PC plus market

Lenovo Group (00992.HK; LNVGY.PK),
the largest personal computer (PC) maker worldwide and emerging PC
plus leader, has launched three new Android tablets through its
Malaysian subsidiary, Lenovo Technology Sdn Bhd, to further expand
its market share in the Malaysian PC Plus segment.
The PC plus segment is mainly for products such as smart phones,
tablets and smart televisions.
Khoo Hung Chuan, Lenovo's general manager in Malaysia, said its
Malaysian market share is positive at the moment as people using PC
plus products like tablets and smart phones are increasing in number.
The new tablets are the A1000, focusing on audio and ideal for
first-time tablet buyers; the A3000, focusing on gaming with a 1.2GHz
quad-core processor; and the S6000, focusing on overall
The latest Android tablets are designed for a wide range of
customers, especially young and active users who are always on the

Lenovo will introduce several new PC Plus products by the end of
