Pulse Electronics to Introduce Integrated Connector Module Family
Sep 03, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Pulse Electronics Corp., a provider of electronic components, introduces a new 10GBASE-T press-fit integrated connector module product family.
According to a release, these 10 gigabit press-fit RJ45 ICMs meet IEEE 802.3 specifications and are available in common industry configurations: 2x2, 2x4, 2x6 and 2x8. The Pulse Electronics ICMs facilitate the implementation of 10GBASE-T in enterprises and cloud data centers. The products are qualified at 10GBASE-T PHY vendors.
"Pulse's 10 gigabit press fit ICMs have a patented shielding system that prevents noise interference from adjacent ports, ensuring optimal data transmission," said Muhammad Khan, product manager, Pulse Electronics. "The ICMs are tuned to have excellent insertion and return loss performance over 10 gigabit frequencies."
Using a press-fit pin provides a pressure contact with the printed circuit board, eliminating the need for wave soldering. Detailed process specifications are available to assist customers with the insertion and extraction of these press-fit pin ICMs.
The 10 gigabit press-fit ICMs are packaged in trays.
Pulse Electronics is the electronic components partner.
