Three, a communications services provider, has announced the availability of the LG Optimus L1 II smartphone in the standard black, or exclusively in white.
It will be available on the new '3-2-1' Pay As You Go price plans or various monthly tariffs. The latest smartphone from LG is perfect for introducing the benefits of a smartphone to those that don't have one, or for users want to upgrade from a basic handset. It features a bright and clear 3" touchscreen, perfect for browsing the web, reading emails and updating social networking sites. It also has a fun voice-activated camera trigger called, 'Cheese Shutter' that eliminates the need for pushing a button, the company said.
Sylvia Chind, head of devices at Three, said: "The LG Optimus L1 II is a great entry-level smartphone with some clever additional features that we think will attract a new audience and demonstrate the many benefits of using the mobile internet on Three, all at an affordable price."
The LG Optimus L1 II comes with a 1 GHz processor, operates on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), and has Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi capabilities, the company added.
